RaetsMarine, founded in 1993, is a niche specialist ‘retail’ P&I and Marine insurance provider. We provide insurance, risk management, loss prevention and claim services to shipowners, charterers, traders, cargo owners and port authorities around the world.

RaetsMarine insures more than 1,000 charterers declaring more than 25,000 ships per annum, and insuring more than 5,000 ships for P&I world-wide.  We also provide cover for marine cargo, multimodal, port and logistics, hull & machinery, shipbuilding risks and other specialist covers.  Our approach provides a ‘one stop shop’ specialist marine underwriter with a leading position in the fixed premium Charterers Liability and Shipowners P&I market.

Our head office is in Rotterdam and we have branch offices in Paris, London and Singapore.  From the outset, we have endeavoured to exceed our clients’ expectations by:
